SPEEDOMETERS & TACHOMETERS CABLES

We produce speedometer and tachometer flexible shafts for OEM and aftermarket
applications using the highest quality components available insuring long life. Our years
of supplying cables includes such customers as John Deere, Case New Holland, Terex
and Komatsu Dresser.
Although casing and core material will vary in type and size, the flexible shaft assembly
remains essentially the same. Below are illustrations (A) utilizing spirally wound metal
casing and (B) a flexible shaft incorporating a compensating lower drive tip. This type
of design permits the core projection to adjust itself inside the tip, and prevents
excessive core thrust on the speedometer or tachometer, thus, prolonging the life of the
instrument.
